Riskified Ascend Merchant Summit

Client: Riskified (Full time, in-house)
Location: Boston, USA

The brief: Ascend is Riskified’s annual Merchant Summit. With international travel regulations lifted, this was the first time in 2 years that Riskified had been able to bring its global community of industry leaders together for 2 days of mainstage sessions, breakouts, excursions in the Boston area and networking events.

My role: As project owner reporting to SVP of Customer Success and President of Field Operations, I oversaw all internal and external team members managing content, travel, production, and design over a 6 month project timeline.

The result: The event surpassed all expectations - internal stakeholders claimed the conference had been lifted to a new level of scale and professionalism. Attendees walked away delighted from 2 days of inspiring content and the chance to network with their industry peers, positioning Riskified as a thought leader and the “Ascend” conference as a leading industry event. Over 90% of attendees indicated an intention to return to the event in 2023.
